Maharashtra board 10th and 12th exams 2021 postponed due to covid situation
- Maharashtra education minister Varsha Gaikwad on Monday announced that the State board class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (Class 12) exams 2021 have been postponed due to the growing cases of coronavirus infections in the state.

While HSC exams will take place at the end of May now, SSC exams will be conducted in June 2021, said state education minister Varsha Gaikwad. Earlier, the exams were scheduled for April and May for HSC and SSC respectively

In her letter to the minister, she said by forcing children to sit for these exams during a raging pandemic, the Government and the CBSE board will be held responsible if any exam centre becomes a hotspot with a large numbers of children becoming infected with the disease.
